Dragon animation - visual fx shot - final and breakdown

I downloaded this rig from Truong and I've been wanting to have a go at animating it for a while so i figured i'd do a bit of compositing into a live action plate too.

I used a few different software here - Maya for animating, Had a play with Speedtree for building the tree model and composited the shot together with After Effects. Photoshop was also used for cutting out various images.
